Frequently Asked Questions

t

Where did the name Knob Hill come from?

Knob Hill Bed & Breakfast is named after the small, 2-street, Flint subdivision of stately homes that was developed in the early 1900s and in which our B & B is located.
t

I have special dietary needs. Will I be able to eat breakfast at your B & B?

We always ask if anyone who will be staying with us has special dietary needs when reservations are made and will always accommodate them. It is important that ALL of our guests receive the same quality food and accommodations.
t

How strict are you with the check-in, check-out and breakfast times stated in your policies?

We make every attempt to meet your individual needs. Please mention when making reservations if late/early check-in/check-out or breakfast is needed.
t

May I bring my own alcohol?

Yes.
t

We will be celebrating a special occasion - can you do anything special for me?

Just let us know what you want and we will make every effort to fulfill your request. Depending on your needs there may or may not be an additional charge.
t

Is smoking permitted?

Smoking is only permitted in specified outdoor areas. Please inquire upon check-in.
t

What is a friends & family suite?

A friends & family suite is comprised of two or more bedrooms that share a bathroom. Knob Hill Bed & Breakfast has two friends & family suites, a 2-bedroom suite and a 2 or 3-bedroom suite. If a group of family members or friends are staying at Knob Hill Bed & Breakfast and are comfortable sharing a bathroom, they may choose one of our 2 or 3-bedroom friends & family suites and benefit from reduced rates when they share a bathroom. These accommodations are often desired because they permit more open social interactions. When only one bedroom is needed, a single bedroom in either suite can be booked with a private bath and the other bedroom or bedrooms in the suite will not be made available to others.
t

Are pets allowed?

At this time, we only permit service animals at Knob Hill Bed & Breakfast. If you are traveling with a pet, we are able to suggest alternatives for their stay.
